How do you define PR?

What is public relations?

You could go with PRSA’s definition:

Public relations is a strategic communication process that builds mutually beneficial relationships between organizations and their publics.

PR Newswire knows this, and asked its social media community to weigh in and tell finish this sentence: “PR is now _____.” It received nearly 100 responses, some of which are compiled in the infographic below.

The responses give a fuller picture of the current state of PR—but as you’ll see, none differ too much from PRSA’s definition.

You can offer your own insights by using the #PRisNow hashtag.

How would you define PR now, Ragan.com readers?
