30 jobs in the PR and marketing world

Content marketers are in demand—again.

Data from Moz.com show that job seekers with experience in online content, marketing or content strategy are coveted—and more likely to be considered for a position if they include those keywords in their online resume.

Over the last year, more than 25 percent of advertising and marketing executives said they expected to hire in content marketing.

Marketing themselves accordingly, the number of applicants that list the term in their LinkedIn profiles has tripled, Marketing Land reports.

“The number of profiles containing ‘content marketing’ has seen the largest growth, with a 168 percent increase since 2013,” Moz states.

To make your profile stand out even more, Moz suggests listing all applicable digital marketing skills—even if a position seems niche.

“The 20 most common digital marketing-related job titles being advertised call for a broad mix of skills,” the blog states. “Even job descriptions for specialist roles tend to call for skills in other disciplines. A particular role such as SEO specialist may call for several skills other than SEO, such as PPC, content marketing, and Google Analytics.”

Add to your experience with Los Angeles jewelry retailer Dogeared. The company is looking for its next content marketing manager.

Although the position calls primarily for experience in writing, editing and editorial management, skills in social media, design and analytics are all mentioned in its listing.
