Since Friday, Twitter has been remembering the life and career of Muhammad Ali.
The hashtag #RipMuhammadAli brought a wave of calm to an otherwise typical, chaotic weekend on social media.
Worldwide, users shared iconic photos of the three-time heavyweight boxing champion from throughout his career. Fans, athletes and brand managers celebrated the 74-year-old’s life through a variety of inspirational images and quotes.
Whether he was standing victorious inside of a boxing ring, raising awareness for Parkinson’s disease or sitting across from Barbara Walters discussing the civil rights movement, Ali’s words resonated with people.
